"The inspection was complete and thorough. All of the issues that were noted were easily understood. The one area that created some additional effort was the aluminum wiring. As it turned out, upon inspection by an electrician, it was determined that the condo was completed wired with aluminum. This meant that the insuring company was quite willing to offer coverage - as long as there were no changes planned. Because we intend to install a washer/dryer, we were told that ALL of the connections within the unit would need to be pigtailed. We have engaged a certified electrician to "pigtail" ALL of the connections when they install the new devices."
