"Unfortunately, a lot of major things were missed on our home inspection. We were told the roof would last easily another 10 years, we then found out that there are already shingles missing. I questioned a crack in the exterior brick and was told it was not an issue, it was just from the house settling. This inspector could have very easily removed the drop ceiling tiles inside the door to inspect. If this had have been done, I would HOPE he would have noticed that the door was enlarged and the structure to do so was NOT re-done properly. Such a simple thing for an inspector to inspect and this was not done. We have also since found that a door was leaking for years and the sub floor and structural joists were completely rotten. These are the major things we have found, there are so many more minor things missed. Overall, I will never ever recommend this home inspector and additionally, I will never ever waste money again on a home inspection. I thought this was the right thing to do for peace of mind. It was certainly not since nothing was inspected thoroughly and nothing was found. I highly recommend hiring someone else if you should choose to hire a home inspector."
